Help there's oil all in my fuel filter and my diesels black

Hi all, i don't know whether anyone can help but I've just bought a seat leon mk2 fr dpi and had a service and the fuel filter was black and so was the diesel coming out any help would be appreciated, thanks

Previous owner might have slung some used engine oil in the tank at some point?

Otherwise it's the tandem fuel pump seal thats failed.

Dont worry about it as my filter looks the same and i haver had the pump looked at and it was fault free

As above my mk2 was the same an old VW mech gone solo at a local garage told me there all the same was told it was caused by blow by on the injector seals and if its running ok leave it. 60000 miles later its still the same and running sweet.
