Help with Speed sign recognition and shading on the map

Wonder whether anyone can help please ??
I have a seat leon FR DSG 1395cc (21) within the last 3 weeks I have had problems with the displayed map which use to show ( without going to the navigation settings) the speed sign's and also an annoying shading on the map , can be anything from 1/4 to 1/2 shading?
Yes I can get the map to show speed sign's by using the navigation settings but when the car is turned off I have to reset everytime I re start ?
Could anyone please help !!

Do you have Android Auto/Apple Car Play integration? Google Maps, or Waze if that's your preference, blow the standard navigation system into the weeds.

Yes but was trying to use the system on board as it was working I just wondered if it could be fixed
