Hi iam new to forums so please be kind lol.
I just bought a 2012 seat leon fr+ 2.0tdi which I love .
Iam getting a stage 1 map done at end of this month question I have is come filter or not.
Also I heard loads of horror stories with dpf filters on these what is your thoughts.
Car is well serviced and looked after just had timing belt and water pump done and full service.

Had a Mk2 Leon FR+ myself, although I never tuned it. You may want to post your questions in the Mk 2 Leon forum

Air free flowing filter will benefit the engine a lot more especially with a remap.

Hey chaps thanks for the welcome, remap may be on hold for the moment as I had developed a tinny rattle that is loud under the car and passenger footwell. Its only on idle .
Any ideas.

Maybe a loose exhaust heat shield?

That's kind what iam hoping. I have had no luck with cars and bought this hoping my luck would change just hoping its not the duel mass flywheel.

DMF, having had one replaced, is more of a light metal-on-metal tap in phase with the engine firing cycle. You'll get a bit of driveline vibration too.

Have to say no vibration that I have noticed and noise is there if clutch is depressed or if its not. Its a total mystery was fine on way to work then start car to go home and tinny rattle there.
Hope nothing major as I was looking forward to the remap.

Hey all just an update, had the car in the garage and the rattle wasn't the dmf so good news there so while it was in got it stage1 remapped feels like a different car.
Just waiting on some led's to come is there any way to have the drl's on at the same time as headlights.
