Welcome. Nice car that I used to own a red one. First thing you can do is fit HID headlights (£40ish), there and absolute must on these cars as the standard lights are pants, also fit a set of 15mm spacers on the rear wheels (£50 max). Transforms the looks and handling for not a lot of cash. Some anthracite on the wheels would look superb against the silver body as well (£50 a wheel for powder coat). All that lot will transform the look of the car.

After that it's lowering the car then it gets a bit more pricey.

Have a look on ed38 or eBay for some parts for sale.

thanks :) yea i've seen a few with the wheel spacers on and i totally agree they make a big difference to the look... the HID headlights ... i dunno about them do you mean the kit cause i've actually got a set with xenon bulbs or do you mean an actual headlight upgrade cause i've been told they must have washer jets on them if you have xenon bulbs unless they came standard with the car in the first place... hope you get that lol

Never mind the horror stories about the hids. I've had 2 sets of them in non projector lights without the washers and both have been fine. The spacers are a must for the ibizas as the rear wheels look sooooooo out of place that far inside the arch. It improves the handling a lot as well and makes the car feel a lot more stable when giving it the beans. A nice seat sport upper strut brace would look good under the bonnet.

haha ok i'll get the hids in soon then ;) yea i hope the spacers make a difference and i can't wait to get it on coilovers i've been looking for them on ebay already!! seen some raceland ones but they sound shite "poundland" comes into my mind lol have you got a pic of your old ibiza i wouldn't mind a peek if u have :)

Yea sure. I didn't have coilovers on mine. I fitted the H&R Cup suspension on mine which was low enough. I went through 3 LCR splitters in 4 months.

Cheers, I love that car when I had it. Was my first turbo'd car. H&R are suspension gurus for the VAG world.

Your the first lass to ever say that lol. All the viagra takers will be PM'ing you shortly lol.

The ride was spot on for me however they cost a pretty penny. If I was to do it again then i'd go for AP coilovers, there given a very high rating by almost every user and can be had for £350 a set.
