Hi,

Looking at fitting a HID kit to my FR, but some kit say its for dipped beam. does this mean I need a separate kit for high beam???:confused::confused::confused:

Also some kits say 55w and some are 35w, any body know what to go for??

thanks for any help

Ive had an hid kit fitted to my golf turbo and had dip beam only . Not worth getting full beam tbh . I had 35w 6000k kit but next time i will get a 5000k kit . Just dont go over 6k otherwise it will look like a saxo coming down the road lol

My local MOT garage in Motherwell was advising me the other day that the police have been doing a purge on aftermarket HID. Apparently illegal without washers and self levelling?

That is very true, one of the lad's at work had aftermarket Hid's on his Bmw and that failed an Mot test. Had to go back to standard bulbs!
