had a search, but anyone know any reasons for high inlet temperatures in this cold weather?

im experiencing inlet temps upto 47 degrees on side mount intercooler..

why would the temps be so high, i have done logs to confirm this and its regularly this high.

im thinking this heat is causing my horrific timing pull.]

i know fmic is one answer but im after any other suggestions as to why i would be seeing such high temps?

smic clogged up with sh1te? Not getting good flow through it? I still get high 20's even with my FMIC in this weather...bigger front mount or wmi needed!

hmmh, maybe the smic is gunked up, it looked ok but never thoroughly checked it.

looking into fmic as per my other thread danny.

anything else that could cause high inlet temps

Only way to bring them down is a FMIC or WMI, James.

I see sub 20'C inlet temps while logging in these outside temps :D

thats the way im going damien.... looking into a uni kit now, looks superb and kinetics fitted to his lc.... makes it single pass aswell. smaller than forge but im not going above 240bhp anyways.
