Turning right tonight, lit the wheels up to try and get me around when I realised I was going straight on, hit the near side front wheel HARD into the curb.

Stearing wheel is quite a bit out and the brakes feel funny (although I may have cooked them).

Any ideas what kind of damage I could have done?

Does it still go? ifso then your driveshaft should be ok. Does the wheel stick out at the top instead of in? if yes then the control arm might be damaged along with the rod ends and ball joints.

bent your steering column
ive done this in a car before when *someone* was changing the stereo and they veered into the curb

dinted the alloy
bent the steering column
and a new tyre

Yes it still goes so I guess the drive shaft is ok.

Trip to the garage on Saturday morning then to have it checked out.

Too dark to have a good look tonight. I'll check the wheel to see if its sticking out at the top.

Bent it as much as this? Check this beauty out:

Smacked a kerb in the LCR - new track control arm and alloy required. The giveaway was the 1/4 turn of lock needed to get the car to go in a straight line afterwards.

The steering wheel is a few degrees out, not a massive amount.

Straight after, when I braked, it was very soft but came back after a few presses.
