Just thought id give them a big thumbs up! I Bought my new Ibiza from them just over a few weeks ago now and if they offer the same level of service when it comes to servicing and parts/repairs if need be, Id happily go back to them when I come to changing the car again.

From first walking through the doors and having a good test drive in my chosen car pretty much instantaneously to the explaining of all the offers and facilities they have on offer and the overall friendliness of everyone at the dealer itself I can say im a very happy customer. The sales lad David was very helpful indeed!

The 'privilege' card I received through the post from the Hobin Group entitling me to 10% off servicing, mot's and repair costs aswell as buy 1 and get one free on tyres will also come in handy!

I guess the real test is when you start having problems but so far, All is good! Top Marks to them

So far I have had 5 trips to Hobin Seat Bury for warranty work, engine misfire - that got put down to my driving the all the other visits have been for the windy door syndrome and so far they have changed door seals and modified the wing mirror etc etc but it's not been sorted. It has to be said I have not had customer service like it they try 110% but they just can't mend my car :( So if it's service with a smile and from a company who still treats the customer as king then Hobin of Bury is your place just don't expect things to be sorted in one visit! OH! and a word of warning... if you get the offer of your car to be collected and returned do not take them up on the offer, they have a lad working for them who is retarded at parking! He parallel parked my car and managed to get both front wheels on the kerb WTF!

Hmmm...

I was never too impressed with Pennine Bury so thought when Hobin took them over it would be a good thing.

Recently popped in for a couple of parts and if anything, the customer service seemed worse than Pennine used to be. Just didn't seem interested, not listening to what I'm saying, no thanks or goodbye or anything.

Gonna try a different dealer when service time comes up I think.

I bought my Leon from them a few weeks ago and they were brilliant, they got the used one I wanted down from Glasgow, and chucked in a free service as well. Would really recommend them :)

I agree, Pennine was useless - had no confidence in the work they'd done or supposed to had done.

As far Hobin are concerned not had much dealings with them apart from a warranty part replacement which was faulty (small timing belt), plus water pump replacement in 2008.

I now take my car to Parkside Skoda in Bolton - good mechanics and service.

Well i bought a brand new Leon TDI from Hobin of Bury in March 2008, they were really helpful and couldn't fault them. There is a definite difference in personnel now but still as helpful, so much so that I am buying a my second Leon, this time a Cupra K1. Trade in price that I got was fantastic, and free MOT's for life and two free services. Big thumbs up for hobins

The Hobin Group has Manchester, Bury and Preston, Sales and After sales staff have changed over the last few years, customer service from both sales and service is fantastic according to their CSI score which is displayed for all to see in the service reception, If you are unhappy in anyway contact the group aftersales manager Manny, who will make sure that your issue is sorted.......

Hobin is now officially the best dealer group for SEAT in the country! Awarded sometime last week.

I stopped in a month or so back, after deciding to have a look at a Leon FR TDI, Simon (sales guy) was very helpful, not at all pushy, showed us our options, offered us a test drive (unfortunately we were in a rush so couldn't) but we decided against getting one as we fancied another 1 series.

Went back yesterday as me and the mrs were in a car shopping mood and spoke to Simon. He found us an '06 Chrono Yellow with 29k on the clock for a bargain price, we obviously played the 'we're not sure card' and after some very easy negotiation, he agreed to sell us the car, take ours in p/ex for more than we were offered elsewhere, threw in a service, a cambelt change if it hadn't already been done, 6 months tax and to change the 17" alloys for the 18's. :p

All in all fantastic service, and the car should be here towards the end of the week!

Can't speak highly enough for the service and ease this guy provided!

Simon Haslam and Hobin of Bury we salute you!

No rodents of any kind, just a very satisfied customer!

And when I finally reach my 15 posts (I think?) I'll post some pics of the new motor!
