Hi all

I've been a member on and off for over a decade but never started a readers ride so I guess its about time!

In 2003 I had an Ibiza Cupra (Stage 1 Revo, Forge DV, Dynatwist, Scorpion Exhaust) and in 2009 moved onto a Leon Cupra R (K&N, Forge DV, Blueflame Exhaust) and last month I purchased a standard(ish) Leon Cupra.

Cars I have had inbetween these include; Fiat Coupe, Proton Satria GTI, Impreza P1, Impreza Bugeye WRX, 330 Coupe, 325 Coupe, 406 Coupe, X2 205 GTI, X2 306 HDI, Jaguar X-Type Sport, Corsa C SRI, Vectra C SRI, Saxo VTS - I'm sure I've missed some but you get the idea - I like sporty cars and I dont keep them very long :D

As you can tell from my previous modifications I genrally like to keep things simple, improving performance, sound and looks without going OTT.

The plan with the LC is to keep it OEM(ish) and as mint as i can get it!

The car came with factory SAT NAV and Leather along with some light tints, HID's and some black starfish alloys (in desperate need of a refurb). The previous owner had the front bonnet, wings and rear bumper resprayed so the body work looks pretty good for a car with 106k

Although I have only had the car for a couple of weeks I've already managed to spend small fortune on the following...

The silicone extension makes the filter run on the heat shield so may take off to make it fit more snug

Cars looking really good mate, I think if you wrapped or sprayed your S badges that would compliment the black wheels and side repeaters nicely ;)

Where did you get the booter liner from if you don't mind me asking?

I'm not too keen on the black alloys previous owner did them and they are in desperate need of a refurb and I'm thinking of going anthracite or back to silver.

I'm also not to sure on the side repeaters either if I'm honest!

Boot liner was off eBay for £25 odd - not the best looking but does the job

Fair enough mate, yeah I think anthracite suits any colour car and would look good with the silver. The side repeaters look good, it's your personal preference though :)

Cool cheers, nobody else will see it so that's not a problem as long as it keeps my carpet dry :p

I must be getting old but this is just too loud and whooooshy for my liking so its going on eBay unless someone on here wants it?

Bought its from badger5 for £130. Heatsheild still has protective plastic on and I'd say the filter has covered about 250miles. It's a BMC dual cone

Think I'm going to get them sprayed dark grey but I'm not 100% sure yet. Also have some FR wing mirrors to fit and spray silver - probably get all this done when the cars goes in to get the doors repaired after a van rolled off its handbrake into the side of my car!
