Horn trouble

Does anyone know where the horn is mounted on a Cupra R?

I havent scoured for it as yet but I went through a deep puddle and it now sounds like a mouse squeeking!!

It's bolted to the crash bar behind the bumper IIRC! I'm sure you have to take the bumper off to get to it!

15minute job getting it off, need a hand getting it back on though! Had it off when i fitted my FMIC

Just got it put back on as I had my bumper sprayed lol! Will have a nosey!

It's on the right hand side as you look at the car behind the bumper crash bar, i had to move it to fit the FMIC i got.

i took mine off at weekend and couldn't be bothered trying to refit it as its a pain in the ass
but min was right in the centre of the crach bar basically right behind the small hole in the front wich gives you access to the nut

It might be fine once it dries out though tbh... give it a week or so before you try getting to it!

Ive already given it a week and its not got any better! Just sounds like tweety bird when I hit the horn lol!

Phil do you work in Farnham? Sure I have seen an identical convert in the car park near my work!

No but I have a lot of mates over that way, drink at the Cobbett and I'm up at the Phirm a fair bit too... not seen yours about - looks nice though! Will give you a flash if I see ya...

Saw a black cab the other weekend on my way to the Phirm and exchanged waves... just past Tillford green was early on a saturday morning?

How funny, we both have a GTI cab and an LCR - best go and check my horn works now incase wer're becoming the same person

My cab is a classic green pearl rivage with cream leather although it does look blackish i the pic!

My horn doesnt work full stop. As it probably did get wet do you reckon the fuse just went or not?
