Hotspot question

Hi guys I’ve just taking delivery of my new terramar and still trying to understand everything in it. I’ve got the car set to connect to my phone as a hotspot for internet maps etc. noticed in the settings the infotainment can be used a hotspot for others to use my data. But when passengers connect my CUPRA hotspot there phones show as connected to WiFi but don’t get any data. Am I right in thinking this should work thanks
