how do i remove my ecu? please

is there a guide or can someone tell me where the ecu is and how to remove it please. i know where the obd port is just cant really see the ecu.

standing in front of the car with the bonnet open....

left hand side, at the back - lift the rubber seal trim up. then remove the black plastic splash cover that 'hides' the wiper mechanism.

The ECU is the metal box with wiring loom coming out of it.

disconnect it from the wiring loom - slide the lock from the connectors out as far as it can & remove each of the 2 connectors.

then with a small flat screwdriver release the ECU from the cage - it's held with one locking mechanism (hence the screwdriver)

that's it......
