how do you know when your CAT has gone

just lately it has started to smeel a fair bit when i get out the car altho i dont know if it could have anything to do with the fitting of a turbosmat dual port dv

how would i know that the cat has gone?

if it smells like rotten egss then unburnt gasoline is getting into the cat, meaning you're either overfueling or sparks/coils are not working properly....

if its the smell of gasoline, then it could also be a number of things. I had this when I didn't fit my second lambda, it was overfueling causing the exhaust to smell of gasoline...

Running on rice...starch isn't the greatest fuel for the cars I believe...

no ok i'll be serious now.

What could a DV have to do with the car running rich? I am not really seeing the connection.

right i think this must be the turbosmart dv not set up right because ive had my 007 on all weekend and had none of these isuses at all

I've never understood what's wrong with the 007P myself. Does exactly what it's supposed to do, and plenty of noise available if you run an open cone and n249 bypass
