How much for a bonnet respray?

Previous owner of my mk3 has taken the metallic off my bonnet trying to remove bird poo, what will i be looking at for a respray? Anyone know somewhere good north London?

arctic grey-got three small areas but they scrubbed bigger area to try and sort it..

if you paint just the bonnet it will stick out like a sore thumb against the 2 front wings, doesn't matter what anyone says they will, you need to blow in the tops of the wings too, as to even out the colour differences from old to new, grey is a pig to match and blend, i spent many years in a accident repair garage and came across this all the time..

Seems that the arctic grey colour is not too uncommon. Might be worth ringing every breakers yard in the area to se if anyone has one with an undamaged bonet. Long shot but worth an hour on the phone.

i would second that, if you can get a bonnet from a breakers or someone that has a rear ended one, will prob save u a bit.

Will I have the same issue/problem with my car being ebony black (no metallic)???
My car is imported from germany and has got a lot of rubble on the front of the bonnet..

Thats better than what i managed to get it for, and mine is family rate :)

whats the saying,

You can choose your friends but not your family :lol:

we got the typical lacquer flake and dulling of the yellow on the panels compared to the plastics, when we get it done will make sure its all lacquered up and gleaming and keep it clean and polished unlike what it is now

Thanks Guys, reckon I will try and find another bonnet sounds like it's gonna be cheaper
