How to change leon interior with electric seats and armrest.

The seats look like the ones in my car, which were transplanted from a V5 Toledo by the previous owner. They are the half-leather seats, with grey Alcantara on the seat and back cushions. The door cards are Alcantara covered as well.

Alcantara is a pseudo-suede made entirely from plastics, polyester and polyurethane. It can be put in a washing machine so wet cleaning is possible. Water, lemon juice or ethanol are the recommended cleaning fluids, depending on the stain.

The leather on mine was scuffed around the seatbelt wear points and the drivers door (with getting in and out). Ordinary Kiwi shoe polish has done a good job of covering the scuffs, but you need to polish it up very well to make sure nothing is left to rub off on your clothes.

Bit of a stupid question but how do they slide forwards and backwards??

There are control levers down the side of the seat which control motors that drive the seat forwards and backwards (also up and down, make the seat back move forward and back and move the seat squab at front and back).

They aren't meant for 2-door cars, so don't have any quick release.

Two buttons - long sliders really.

Front slider controls the seat pan. Tilt the front of the slider up to raise the front of the seat squab, the back to raise the back, lift the whole thing to raise the seat as a whole. Slide it forwards to move the seat forwards, back to move it back.

Rear slider controls the seat back. It just pivots to control the angle of the back.

Unless it had electric seats from the factory then no.

The correct way to wire them is running a positive feed from the permanent supply under the dashboard, via a 30A thermal fuse, and then off to a decent earth.

The OE cabling used for the electric seats is heavier gauge than that used for the ciggy lighter - the ciggy lighter is also only protected by a 15A fuse and not a 30A as needed by the seats.

Only problem with cutting them off and wiring directly is it'll make it pretty difficult to remove the seats again if you need to in future.

The seats you've got, do they have the memory function (red button) or just electrically operated?

IIRC the memory seats need a different control module for the memory function to work - you can still connect up the power function, they just won't move when you select a memory position.
