I don't know if this has been covered already but I'll add it anyway, its for those of you who want to get that very annoying shiny texture off you leather steering wheel and have it looking like new again.

All you need is a micro fibre cloth, bowl of water and magic eraser (The one I used was called "Doktor Power Magic Eraser by JML which is available to buy at ASDA, Wilkinsons ETC)

Simply dip the magic eraser in a bowl of water and rinse most of the water out, then wipe your steering wheel by applying slight bit of pressure (not too much as you may damage the leather finish)

Make sure you have covered all of the leather surface of the steering wheel, then dry using the micro fiber cloth

It should work the 1st time you do it (it did on mine)

You can even do the gear knob, I did on mine

yeah i knew about it, it last for a while then becomes greasy again, guess you just have to do it again! Does look like new when it's done though.

Nothing can stop it from getting dirty again, but it's the best cleaner for leather steering wheels I've come across
