im trying to achieve somewhere between 240bhp and 270 from my auq 1.8t leon fr, what will i need to change/upgrade.

Thankyou/.

LOTS!!! As far as I know you would have upgrade the turbo to get near 270. Good air intake, 3" turbo back exhaust, FMIC and a stage 2 map should get you close to 240 though

I'm running at just over 250bhp with a ko3s turbo on an AQU engine

stage 2 remap, 3" T.I.P, 3" dwonpipe and sports cat, bigger injectors and up rated fuel pump.

I dont have a font mount (yet), or a larger maf sensor.

So you can get the figures your after with out that much work.

I thought the K03s maxes out at 240bhp though???

You can max out the ko3s to around 240bhp with just a downpipe and de-cat and a turbo back exhaust. A front mount will help with warmer conditions and also a good air filter. As for tip it's not essential as it does not restrict the ko3s flow. If your going past 240bhp then you will need a bigger turbo with injectors updated fuel pump and maybe a 4bar fuel pressure regulator. Bigger turbo=more air flow needed so bigger intake from the Lcr 80mm will help. But going past 240bhp (stage 2 figures) you had better do the rods. Then you will need to look at a uprated clutch. Stage 2 if not made too aggressive and is a smooth map you can use stock rods and clutch but it all depends on how you drive it. If your going to do any drag strips then do rods and clutch with stage 2 power as they will be short lived. In most peoples opinion anything past stage 1 map you better do rods for peace of mind because you will be good for 500+bhp. Basically it's a massive difference between 240 and 270

Wow thats good, what injectors are you running? also what mpg do you seE?

On a motorway, I'll get 38.9 mpg using cruise control at 70mph. Normal driving gives me about 26 mpg.

I'm not sure on the injectors as they were already fitted when I got the car.

AMD in Essex, did the stage 2 map and got a print out at 251. something bhp.

Could always do with more though, lol

Good advice there aaron. Iv been looking into all of this and it gets more costly everytime i dig deeper. A re think might come in handy with this one :(
