could you elaborate a bit more on why type or injectors what type of maf and so on.?
I'm running at just over 250bhp with a ko3s turbo on an AQU engine
stage 2 remap, 3" T.I.P, 3" dwonpipe and sports cat, bigger injectors and up rated fuel pump.
I dont have a font mount (yet), or a larger maf sensor.
So you can get the figures your after with out that much work.
Wow thats good, what injectors are you running? also what mpg do you seE?
You can max out the ko3s to around 240bhp with just a downpipe and de-cat and a turbo back exhaust. A front mount will help with warmer conditions and also a good air filter. As for tip it's not essential as it does not restrict the ko3s flow. If your going past 240bhp then you will need a bigger turbo with injectors updated fuel pump and maybe a 4bar fuel pressure regulator. Bigger turbo=more air flow needed so bigger intake from the Lcr 80mm will help. But going past 240bhp (stage 2 figures) you had better do the rods. Then you will need to look at a uprated clutch. Stage 2 if not made too aggressive and is a smooth map you can use stock rods and clutch but it all depends on how you drive it. If your going to do any drag strips then do rods and clutch with stage 2 power as they will be short lived. In most peoples opinion anything past stage 1 map you better do rods for peace of mind because you will be good for 500+bhp. Basically it's a massive difference between 240 and 270
im all up for doing most thingsits all fun
, trying to find companys who sell rods and internal parts other than IE
