For stage 1 map you dont need anything at all. Stage 2 required a FMIC, turbo back exhaust and a high flow air filter..

cheers mate, also got another question where can i get hid kit from for the lights?

I have the hids4u ultimate H7R HID kit... but I would probably stick to aftermarket extra-power halogen bulbs (e.g. Osram Nightbreakers or Philips Xtreme-Power) if I had my time again. If you just want the nice colour and aren't bothered about light output, get the MTEC hid-a-likes for a fraction of the cost and install effort vs a HID kit. ;)

My next car will have OE bi-xenons.

Whichever way you get the hid look, you'll want to change the W5W/501 sidelights for an LED version or they'll look very yellow compared to your dipped headlights. Be sure to avoid bulb warnings with LEDs by fitting a resistor kit or buying "canbus compatible" LEDs.
IMHO it's not worth changing the fogs because who cares about colour aesthetics in thick fog? Likewise, full beam H1s because flashing people with a HID kit won't do the ballast any good at all.

Stage 2 revo will give you about 270bhp

no it wont. stage 2 revo gives 260Hp. unless you go on rollers that give away free Hp like AMD or superchips.

stage 1 you wil get 235-245Hp with 250-270ibft.
stage 2 with intake and downpipe will see you at 250-260Hp with 270-300Ibft
stage 2+ with the above, intercooler and uprated HPFP will getyou 270-280Hp with 300+Ibft.

i reccommend shark performance. not quite as aggressive as revo low down, slightly more progressive with the delivery, (which should be a bit better for the clutch) and comarative figures as well. my car when at shark performance stage 2 and stage 3(same as revo stage 2+) was identical to my friends revo car at the same stages. absolutely nothing between them on the road. except his cost more than mine. (and my vRS is a goo 100kg heavier than his GTI)

if you want 260 Hp the mods you require are as follows:

A good performance intake:
forge twintake, evoms, ITG maxogen, BSH true seal are the ones id say to look at.

A performance Downpipe at the minimum, a full Turbo back exhaust is better but not £500 better:
miltek, blueflame and pipewerx are the ones id look at

and stage 2 software.
the only people i would let map my car after driving lots of different tuners attempts are:
REVO, APR and shark performance.

recommended would be the HPFP upgrade and an intercooler, and of course all the handling mods

cupra is a different matter as you have the k04 turbo fitted to that. miltek cat back wont make any difference really. the restriction is in the downpipe. i reckon you would realistically be looking at 280-290Hp on good rollers. 300+ on others.

decat will allow the power to come in earlier as it will spool up quicker.

forge Diverter valve(its not a dump valve) wont make any difference really unless your stock DV is broke. better off spending half the amount on the new D revision Diverter valve which is the same sort o design but requires no servicing unlike the forge which requires a service periodically

I rang revo and they said my k1 would be at least 300bhp with just a map? Is this true?
