how to increase bhp on gti 8v

i am after making my car quicker..does anyone know any good mods to increase the bhp without damaging the engine and keeping it running mint.?

whin i had mine it was chipped and cammed when i got it, i added a piperx panel filter and powerflow cat back xzorst it got rollig roaded at 140bhp

cheers guys i think i will go with the induction/zorst option..i can get a induction kit off ebay easily but ive had no luck finding a zorst? anyone know anygood websites? cheers

dunno what mods you already jave but every1 told me to go handling route first... ie suspension and brakes....

i have got 17s on with fx coilovers 60/40 so it handles mint.jst after a few extra mods for performance..

You can rechip an 8v, plus improve the breathing by ripping out the air feeder to the airbox and putting in some proper ducting. I've also got a supersprint exhaust cat back without the centre silencer.

Mk3 US or Mk4 UK Cross Flow Head Conversion, then mated with a nice Bahn Brenner SuperCharger Kit should give some nicce power...

Very Intrested in these supercharger kits. What's the form with them BHP wise? Ive got a Chipped 8Valver with a Piper cam. Running around 128BHP. What sort of gains would the charger give? Seen them for around £1500 just for the kit.

Looks mint when fitted too.
