How to replace discs and pads?

Hello all, can anyone provide a step-by-step guide of how to replace the brake pads and discs on an Altea?

Photos of each step would be great, as would a breakdown of the tools required.

I did both ends without preparation on mine in October. You'll need a good caliper wind back tool, some 21mm (I think) spanners and lots of patience.

Rear discs fall out without removing the calipers. Fronts need the caliper taking off. Winding the rear calipers is hard work even with the tool, although that might be because I left mine to the point that the discs had cut the pad backs in half!

Basically, it was a sod even with an impact wrench and a ramp. Our Ibiza needs rear dics and pads and I'm tempted to let the dealer do it for £180 all in.
