How would this look with black wheels? [NOW WITH PHOTO!]

Hi All,

My alloy wheels could do with a refurb and I'm thinking of getting them painted black at the same time.

There are lots of great looking black Leons with black wheels which has inspired me:

My car is a '57 plate TDI PD140 (remapped) in black. It has standard 16 inch wheels.

Am just trying to decide whether it would look alright with black wheels, or are they too small for it look good?

Also, does anyone know of any particlar paint names/codes for black wheels which seem to work well for these cars?

Would appreciate your thoughts/opinions!

@mike0105 yes it's like that but with seven spoke wheels that are a slightly different design. As soon as I get to 15 posts I will add a photo.

Is it worth getting some wheels already done in black and keeping your 16's for winter tyres... You could slap on some 17/18's

@Jimbobcook, to be honest I don't really want the expense of another set of wheels and tyres.
