Hi all,

Cupra Born ordered and due to be delivered end of August! Looking forward to all the updates and advice on these forums.

Any suggestions for home wall chargers? So many available and the choices are crazy.

Thanks

Welcome to SCN, saw a Born in the showroom on Monday whilst I was waiting for my front reg plate to be fixed on with screws as it kept falling off. It is a great looking car, but I will not be going to an EV till there are a lot more charging points about. I saw in the showroom that SEAT/Cupra offer a deal on a wallcharger, did you look into that as maybe on offer to new car buyers.

Thanks for your comments. Our old car(phev-plug in hybrid) has been written off after a traffic accident and so we have now decided to go down the full electric path. We will charge at home for now, as we do roughly 3,000 miles a year. I think with a rough guess we will only need to charge the car once a month at home. If we venture further afield than normal, then we will use a fast charger and can only hope for the best.
There are no deals or partnerships I'm told when it comes to chargers from cupra or seat. They use pod point and that is all they suggest.
