HVAC 01596 error

i checked my car with vag cable vcds from ross tech several times and always i have error
01596 - motor for outside/recirculated Air Flap (V154)
30-10 - open or short to plus - intermitted
01596 - motor for outside/recirculated Air Flap (V154)
29-10 - short to ground - Intermitted
That is the message from the vcds
And i bring the motor out side the car and i try it by small 12v battery and it work and i searched in ross tech site about that error but i found nothing so plz help me what can i do

these things are forever generating "faults" unles you have a specific problem I'd just live with it "generating A/C faults since 2003"

So, you have tested this flap motor assembly using a 12V source and it moves, in the car it will probably get supplied with a lot less than 12V and its movement reported back via the positional feedback signal.

What to do next, well you could replace that flap motor - but remember to perform basic settings using VCDS, maybe run that test on that motor while it is in position.

No i try the air flap motor inside the car also and it work
the air flap works when i push the recirculation button in hvac unit but some time while i close the air circle and the air flap button is on and it's light is on suddenly it's stop and open the circle and i need to push the button many times to close the circle again all of that and the aircondition is running without any problems so i need to know where is the proplem and every time i check by vag cable i have the error 01596

Something about this problem "rings a bell" ie, you switch the recirc on then it switches back off - maybe try using that phrase in a Google search?
