in the last 1k ive noticed the car seems to bounce around a hell of a lot when on the road. I can feel every bump in the road, even when the road is smooth. Handling seems alright, no knocking or any sounds that i should be worried about. I've also noticed that around 65mph and onwards that car develops shuddering like when tyres arent balanced but this all has started since the last 1k on the clock....

any ideas?

Mmm im wondering whether its the bushes as ive already gone through a pair under warranty. Warranty runs out on Monday though! Anyone recommend Powerflex bushes kit to solve this? If so how much would it cost to get a garage to fit it, no way i could!

Well had my first MOT today at the Seat Garage, also the last day of the car warranty. Anyway the MOT picked up ive got a lose bearing on the wheel on driver's side. So getting it replaced for free!

Tip for anyone's first MOT, do it at Seat garage, you pay about £8 more than a local garage BUT you have the right to get any item fixed under warranty even if its the last day :)

This wasnt a service, it was just the first MOT of the car, local garage was £42.50, seat was £50 ish, but for £8 more knowing that there was a fault there and being the last day of my car warranty i wanted them to pick it up so i could say it needs to be done under warranty.

However, servicing is amazing the difference between Seat and Local Garage and savings are huge. However, 2 different garages, 1 even being a specialist in engine tuning and car modifications put 10w40 oil in my FR so now onwards im gonna give them the oil i want in there and ask for the left over, hoping they wont switch it over to cheaper stuff.

Not sure if this is relevant but the suspension shocks may well be worn. They only last about 35K to original performance then they begin to degrade.

I just had a front spring break at 85K and decided to replace the front shocks too.

Before the change, the ride was as you described. After, the ride was much improved.
