hi i have just fixed the problem with the clutch pedal where the white plastic clip breaks and the 2 spot welds but now im stuck with the epc warning light on and the airbag system warning light, i did take the driver seat out but i re-connected the airbag switch anyone got any ideas? im more concerned about the epc.

Air bag light sometimes stays on after removing the seats. As long as the light is on your whole air bag system is disabled. You will need to clear the airbag light via vagcom. Happens on mine sometimes after removing seats. Not sure about the EPC light though

isnt the epc light the accelerator pedal problem warning? maybe ive knocked a sensor or something, how much you reckon a seat garage will want just to take a look?

Try disconecting your battery for 25mins or so. May reset itself.

ok took your advise and disconnected battery it got rid of the epc warning but not the airbag system, (spose ill have to get the stealer to sort that out via vagcom) as i dont know anyone that has it local to me. but if anyone local does have one and reads this im sure there would be a drink or several in it for you. anyway cheers for help beaker
