i was wondering because of the 'rusty hub' issue, which you dont seen to have. i have a little but not nearly as much as some.

the badges look good. i think they were standard on my07 cars. guess the bean counters are to blame for the current lack of them.

My FR is from May 07 and ive got TFSI there...looks better with the FR badges I think.

I did this too a few months back...

I ditched the TFSI & Leon badges about a week after I took delivery...

I was also contemplating putting them on tbe B Pillar like the Ibiza FR but settled with this position.

The badges are only about £7 from the dealers. There is a guy on ebay sells them for about £2 but they are $hoite - I sent mine back because the red and black bits weren't aligned properly.

I did it too but then took them off as from the back of the car looking forward they tend to stick out too far for my liking. They are also difficult to not catch when cleaning the car

Re the Rusty hubs. I'm pretty lucky all mine are ok so far. Perhaps being factory order it wasnt left sat out in the elements for long before it was delivered (that may have made a difference).

Just noticed you have Michelin and I have Dunlop SPs???

I think they just put whatever tyres they have a good deal on??????

I put the badges on my Black FR a couple of months back, i think they look great and i was suprised to find they added 20bhp, improved my mpg and also even helped with the choppy ride... £14 well spent imo!

was looking at that - spill the beans, whats the polish?????????? looks amazing!!

 cheers guys Blackfire Polish followed by Blackfire All Weather Sealent. Certainly does the job, Really easy to apply and remove as well ;)

Found out earlier today that the FR no longer gets any side-badging whatsoever.
