found the problem with my ibiza vr6 rattle its the chain has stretched so now iv got the engine out box off and when the weather clears up ill get the caseings off not as bad as i was thinging pics to follow

no its all standard how much was that one up for and i thought u said u never saw a black vr6 ? was it u that said that ?

wasnt me that said that. i saw one last summer that was black with red mesh. started out as a 2.0 8v and converted. had bravus body kit on. they wanted nearly 2 grand for it.

not got pics off the convertion just pics before i started taking the lump out and it was a 2.0 8v but its never had a body kit on it its 1 owner from new any one no the price off a cam chain kit

cam chain rattle iv done tensioner still same so i took rocker cover of an turned it over the chain gos slack on top and to be fair the rattle gets bad as u rev up shame rally was ment to at track day monday

but its not standard... it obviously is/was/should be a 2.0 litre according to DOOVLAH, yet its got a VR6 lump in.. and you post pics of it showing the reg plate on an open/public forum........

at some point it did have a 2.0 8v and some one put a golf vr6 lump in it and i bought it for 700 with tax and test now 2 months on the chain as started to rattle hens the reason i took the engine out to do it hope fully it will be don e for the mk2 meet im gonna do the water pump as its out more pics to follow
