I put flat spots in 2 of my alloy wheels a couple of months ago. Put the spare on the front and you can barely notice the vibration now its only on the back, sent the one from the front to a wheel specialist and they just got back to me saying it cant be fixed now so im a bit stuck and have no spare now.

Question is do i buy another cupra alloy wheel because the only one i can find is 150 plus 20 delivery just for the rim or do i buy a new set because my current wheels need 4 tyres soon as well as they have autogrip budgets on.

I'd look at buying a set with tyres. Then pick the best 5 of all the wheels/tyres you have. Keep them and sell the remaining ones individually as spares. Would allow you to recoup some of your expense.

All good in theory but I believe these wheels are pretty hard to find second hand

The studs would line up, but you'd have to go down to 35 profile tyres. And even then, you may get a little scrubbing when using a lot of lock. Ride might be rather harsh too.

17" Leon FR+ wheels would fit perfectly with the right size rubber.
