Ibiza Door handle fault

Just looking for some advice if anyone can help.

I started having a problem with my driver side interior door handle a couple of days ago. It feels like it sticks when opening and I have to move the handle in a certain way to open the door from the inside.

Having taken a look, part of the handle has a crack in it (highlighted):

Looking online I think i've identified the part i need on eBay, I just wanted to check this is correct?

Very common problem.
The one from the bay link is silver plastic, right ? But yours is chrome ?

Ah ok, I didn't think of that. I'll have a search for a chrome one.

You have to remove the whole door cart to replace it, be advised

I never ended up getting this fixed due to lockdown, but need to get it sorted before the cars MOT.

I think I have answered my own question, the ones on eBay seem to all be for left hand drive cars.

Its not that one.

As you can see in the back doesnt have a hole for the wires for the side mirror device.

I think what you need is 6J2837114

besides the part number also make sure it is the chrome version as there are two

Also the cheapest place to buy this is the dealer, about 25€ the last time I bought.

And they can surelly give you the right part if you give them the car information.

And they usually have them in stock

I have emailed a couple of places I found online, the cheapest so far has been £60 + postage!
