Hi,

Has anyone managed to change the fog lights to the facelift model.

The manual I got with the car is fot the old model. I have managed to change the drivers side by accessing it through the wheel arch but is impossible on the passenger side.

Thanks

Craig

Im having the exact same problem with the passengers side, huge plastic container/tank in the way!

Got new white/xenon look Philips bulbs for the headlights and now the car looks ridiculous when the yellow sidelights come on when turning

It is a bumper off job to change the fog lights on a facelift fr, however to get rid of the cornering lights function u can disable it in vagcom so your fogs wont come on unless u pull the switch out

Did this last night drivers side is easy just un-screw part of the wheel arch. Passenger side undo part of the wheelarch and loosen off the underway in that area and you will have sufficient space change the bulb without the front bumper coming off! Ten min job

I did this yesterday, take the 2 screws out at the bottom of the wheel arch like you would on the drivers side and then there's one more further up the arch on the left hand side. Take that out and it gives you a bit more access.

I've got shovel hands and I managed to get the bulb out and back in, but I did gain a few cuts on my arms from the plastic.
