The forge seat sport works out virtually the same price as the seat intercooler an forge piping new nowadays. So personally I'd get the forge kit which is £534 delivered from e parts it can only be better than the seat cooler really?
I know the old single pass had pipework issues but their new one seems really good...having mine fitted a week Monday with before and after synopses runs so I'll report back
depends how lucky you get. I got my Seat sport intercooler for 140 on ebay and its 3 months old. forge pipe work cost me 229 from DPM, So in total about 370.
Ah I think you're after the pd160 intake pipe mate! It's the pipe that goes from front bumper to air box supplying the cold air feed.
It's around £85 new nowadays which is crazy for a piece of plastic! Look around briskoda etc for a second hand one, but to be honest it's not essential and doesn't really make that mug difference if any especially not £85 worth!!
Where are you thinking of getting a remap? Had mine done at gotboost performance in brackla ind estate, bridgend. They're a REVO and DNA tuning dealership.
I'm having my forge seat sport style fitted next Monday so you're welcome to see it and I'll take you out in my car so you can see how a stage 1 is if you like?
that would be really good cheers mate, yeah im in two minds about the intake pipe its alot of money!
Ive had a golf mk4 tdi for years and 240k was a bit to much for her, so im new to the seat scene ( even tho they are basically the same car )
Did you get good gains out of your map? Havent even looked into the map yet as i would like to get some bolt on mods done first so the map can be based around them, any tips?
