Anyone have link to the cable required to be able to plug in and play music from an iPhone 6 using the cars USB slot?

Correct me if this answer is too obvious but won't a normal iPhone charger work? That's what I use to utilise CarPlay etc

I did try that, but nothing came up on either screen all it did was charge. Is there a setting in the iPhone i have to select?

Does your car have CarPlay functionality? I'm assuming it does if it has a USB port, if so just unlock your iPhone and it should work.

If it doesn't have CarPlay then I don't think you can listen to music via USB, you'd have to use aux

Unless you have the new Leon or Ibiza you won't have carplay

For the older ones you must have AUX and USB, then you need something like either

The latter can be hit or miss

As above only works if you have a system with full link if you don't then you can use Bluetooth or a memory stick
