ibiza mk5 reverse light wire color

Hello mates
i am about to install a license plate backup camera in my ibiza. as i understood from several videos i watched. the power of the camera should be drawn from the wire that's feeding the reverse light (the camera will be on when i am reversing) so i was wondering which wire is feeding the reverse light and which is ground? a popular choice for that is blue black wire for power and brown for ground, is that true?

On my 3Dr. it was Blue/Green for the live.When you look at the light cluster with the reflector off you can follow the track back to the plug which i guess you will have to access to wire it in.

Put your reverse lights on and use a test light to check for power at the plug, the live one will be the one you want.

i got it from amazon.com not amazon.co.uk, it is very cheap across the pond. i think it costed 14 u.s dollars and i had a friend pick it up for me when he comes.

i read a review of a parking sensor getting fitted and it seems you are quite right mate.
blue-green for live 12v
brown for ground
i am just waiting now for my double din to arrive to get everything installed.
