Ibiza SC HID canbus conversion kit

hi guys
i want to replace the stock bulbs to HID H7R but i dont know what to order from EBAY.
does enyone knows if theres good conversion kit that will work with the canbus?

I bought mine off HIDs4u i think it was and haven't had any problems with error messages
 
Hi if you havent already got some HIDS yet, i would recommend looking into getting some LED headlights instead, i have just fitted my cupra with some and they work a treat and you dont have to have a great big ballast fitted to them.

i don't think that there are led headlights for ibiza 6j,
maybe you mean the led drl headlights by dectane and others like them,
but main light is halogen projector not led and a crapy quality.

far the best and cheap option for hid kit and not retrofit is in my opinion,

ballast fast start by hyluxtek (best ballast quality in china ballasts)
and for bulbs
CNlight ball shaped 35w AC bulbs (also best quality ever)

all together almost 80 usd

and ibiza 6j don't need can bus in low beam

can bus only:
high beam
fog lights
inner position
 
I think he meant led bulbs, they are as bright as hid, and much cheaper.
although they are not road legal, but neither are hid without the auto adjust etc
 
I have just fitted my car with this set:

They look great, were cheap and very easy to fit with a very small ballast.

anyone know the best place to attach the ballast's? i want to make sure that i don't put it in a stupid place where it'll break off when i hit a pothole

Hi ataky

Where did you attach the ballast mate? Gonna order myself some 6000k for my FR gonna look awesome but i wanna know where your ballast are coz i dont have a clue where to stick them and also did you just stick on using tape or did you cable tie aswell?

I've made two bracket of 30mm wide, 3mm thick aluminium on which i bolted the ballast and the warning canceller. These could be bolted with a small M8 bolt to the fender. This does not require any glue, sticky pads whatsoever so it can be taken out by removing just 1 M8 bolt.

It isnt the most beautiful solution but i'm happy with it.

Ahh cool ive got the new facelift one and was thinking about getting them. ive heard the slim ballast are cheap crap. How are yours holding up? Are your HIDs still nice and white or a bit blue?
 
They still work, haven't had problems with them.
White, got h7r 4300k. I'm glad with them, a lot better than stock halogeen
