I have posted this in the Ice section but no one has answered so am posting here.

OK I am pretty OK with cars until it comes to electrics, so can someone please answer the questions I have before I screw things up

I am looking at replacing my HU with an aftermarket one, I want to keep the OE colour and am changing as want a HU that will do MP3's

I am thinking of getting this HU http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/kenw...7a-p-5605.html but will take suggestions of others with OE colour upto £100 value.

I am just wondering what else I need other than the facia adaptor out of the below please

Also I have a Bluetooth car kit installed (see sig) and need to know if the HU will support the audio mute wire, also which wire will this be as I have found a single white wire that if I remove it from the ISO plug the stereo does not mute when on a call, is there only one wire for audio mute and will I know where to put the wire so the carkit mutes my new HU?

what about an ipod, just get one of them and hook it up to your original stereo thats what i do,

I was thinking about that, but the standard HU is also a squeaky piece of shite, it is just one more flappy thing in these cars that squeaks and creaks on every little bump or curve, so want shot of it.

It seems as if the LCD screen and around that area just creaks all the time, can even hear it when the sound is turned up loud, getting right on my tits

Well it is the HU that is squeaking, it's the front panel around the LCD it is like a plastic film sound as if the screen and cd slot are not bonded correctly, so I would say swapping the HU will fix this squeak, the rest of the rattles I can live with cos I know I can't fix them for good.
