Illuminated Side Sills

Hi there,

Has anyone had/got these fitted?

Picked up a set today and for the life of me I can't make out these fitting instructions.

Any help would be appreciated

I downloaded the fitting instructions but as you say not very clear but looking at it you have 2 batteries which power the leds and the 2 magnets must act as the switch so they are not on when the doors are closed
1 wipe door sills clean
2 install batteries
3 fit sill with the stick pads using the measurement given
4 install the magnets

as usual it wont let me install document

I actually thought the instructions where quite good, just that I didn't expect it to work off of batteries and magnets! I would love a set but when you open the doors the interior lights surely would overpower it??? Would love some pictures of it installed though.

they run off batteries? sounds bit max power to me. There must be a way you can use the golf ones to get it to run off the 'mains' http://www.kufatec.co.uk/shop/en/vo...5q/cable-set-illuminated-door-sills-vw-golf-7

Thanks for the replays, after re-reading the instructions it turns out I'm missing the magnets from my kit.

Called my SEAT dealer who said they would sort this out for me, so now I've just gotta play the waiting game.

I'll try and post some pic's of the car once it's done.
