induction kit

been thinkin of gettin a k&n apollo kit but im in 2 minds duno wetha to just change the intake n keep standard airbox already got a k&n panel filter any thoughts? i heard the apollo kit adds 17bhp. forge intercooler on the way soon aswell im runnin 215.5bhp at the moment

You will never get 17bhp from any induction kit mate.

I'm sure that the best set up is a green coten panel filter and pd160 intake. Well I'm sure thats what Rash is using on his 350bhp monster!

yeah thats wat i thought il leave the panel filter for abit k&n 1 will do for naw. il order the intake next week. wats my bhp likely to go up by with a forge intercooler?

Intercoolers dont add bhp either mate, they just help to hold the power higher up the rev range.

Start with a remap and then a front mount intercooler mate.

its petrol, its bin to a place called ********* but the garage didnt reali tell me much about it just got the dyno sheet lol it had the re circulating dv on it but i wanted the blow off yeah im gettin 1 soon

The blow off type valves throw up faults mate, stick with a re-circulating type valve.

With just a remap it shoult take you upto about 185bhp.

lol dont think with just a remap you will get anywhere near 215.5bhp. Mikey on here has close to that with a hybrid turbo upgrade.

215bhp stage 1 - not bad....... so APR have finally updated there software.... last time I looked they only had that 196bhp.

I need stage 2 now but going to wait until a couple of mod have been done.... snow performance and jbs ko3s exhaust manifold

Yours has increased by 65bhp

stage 2 will increase it another 15-20 tops.

But mods will have to include....

After market Exhaust, Downpipe & Race CAT, green panel filter, FMIC,

nah how much bhp it has with a stage 2 upgrade. im thinkin of a turbo upgrade stage 3 after ive changed nearly evrythin on the car lol clutch intercooler brakes suspention etc etc haha
