Inferi Touch Up Paint

Anyone else had any problems in getting hold of any touch up paint?

Been on order for 6 weeks now and the local dealer tells me SEAT still can't tell them when they will be able to supply as 'they don't make it yet'

On the verge of going down my local body shop to see what they can do.......

I got a pot of touch up paint from Paints4u £17 kit excellent service just need your paint code they can then mix it up.

I got the same response when I asked my dealer for some Candy White - 'we've been waiting for some colours for 2 years'

WTF!!

What sort of company launches a colour and then no back-up like this?

Shoddy IMO.

Spoke to dealer again at weekend, and they still can't tell me when they'll get it in - 8 weeks down the line. So.....

on that basis I took myself off to my local bodyshop, who will mix anything in any quantity, only to be told that they haven't got any details from SEAT on paint code LW9V.

WTF is this all about?

Looked on the paints4u website - thanks for the link - and the paint code given for Inferi Black is W9V ie without the 'L'. So the question is what, if any, significance is the 'L' in the code?

I noticed most of the popular colours have disappeared off my order list. Dont know why, thanks SEAT!!!!!!! Ive been sending customers to a local accessory shop who can do aerosol mixes for about a tenner. Very poor to be a dealer and have to send customers elsewhere Anyone needs a colour code, send me your VIN number and I will help if I can.

imo marking without L is for water based colours... anyways same colour

Just to wrap the thread up - ordered W9V from Paints4u late on Tuesday afternoon. Excellent service....... the paint arrived Thursday morning . Touched up the stone chips last night and the car now looks great again.

Thanks for the recommendation guys. I can only endorse it
