Hi. Recently back in the Seat/Cupra fold after getting rid of my Leon 4drive in 2020, my wife now has a Cupra Leon 245 ( or is it 242?).

Could do with some help with the infotainment on some issues:
1. Can't connect my car to my wifi as it says my WPA isn't compatible? Am I missing anything by not connecting to wifi?
2. A help screen keeps popping up while I am driving asking if I need help? How can I get rid of this?

Anything else I could do with knowing? Any hints and tips?

I've not had either issue, mine connects just fine to the house WiFi but you aren't missing anything as a result - it won't do OTA updates unless you've paid for the Seat data plan and the useless updates certainly aren't worth it.

I found a work around with Android Auto much more use, to pair the phone to the car WiFi then set the phone WiFi to automatically choose the best network - so the phone gives data to Android Auto without setting up a hotspot.

The help screen sounds like either a setting or a bug, unless you can figure out the setting I'd suggest giving the infotainment system a factory reset.

Not quite, it’s the Seat/Cupra connect subscription that gives the OTA/map updates etc.

Android Auto will automatically use your phones data as it’s hosted on your phone, just “projected” to your car’s display.

As for the help screen, have you tried disabling the wake word for the car’s voice command? It always seems to pop up at random with it enabled..

Definitely disable the voice command, I had the same issue.
