In the recent heatwave in uk, our infotainment system froze whilst on a call one day. When the missus pulled up and turned the car off, the next day she turned the car over and the screen was just blank. No power whatsoever, what’s more is the USB down below has no power coming from it either. I’ve checked every single fuse below the steering wheel and under the bonnet, I’ve pulled the head unit out to check the wires behind and see if there was any fuse behind it but nothing behind it. I’ve attached a photo of the head unit in use, it’s the technology upgrade version for the 2016 fr ibiza. All I can think of is the head unit has gone, which I have no way of testing to see if it is the head unit? Anyone ideas? Thanks for reading and your time!
