I just got qoutes from elephant cheaper than bell. Stupid flaming insurance companies

feking hell id never pay 1700 quid for car insurance, get your self a 1.6 or lower car for 3 or 4 years then go for the cupra it will be cheap as chips then, i had a heart attack when they wanted 480 quid off of me for the cupra

ive just had to pay my premium as well. I was with elephant and got a renewal quote for £800 and something odd quid, i put my older sister on, (shes 34) it brought it down to £700, then got a quote from adrian flux,, result: £638! and i thought no-one could beat elephant.

ring HIC on 08451290290 they are awesome declare all your mods and it doesnt cost a thing, an agreed valuation. and they are cheap as chips and match any quote (reasonable quote.) im 23 2 years ncb 6 points no previous bumps or claims and i have it for £500 with my mrs insured on it too. they dropped it £150 if my mrs was insured on it. so shes named on the policy.

so if you ring them up they will send a guy out to look at your car with the mods on then give you a quote? and it's all free? iv wanted to do this type of insurance.
might have to give this a try soon.

no you just declare all mods (wheels stereo upgraded turbo intercooler etc) over the phone and they ask you how much you value the vehicle at and that is the price the value it at on the policy document. however if the value is over 5k you have to go fully comp. i have valued my car under 5k and i am only 3rd party fire and theft as im skint at the moment but the bonus with this company is even with 3rd party fire and theft, you are insured to drive4 any other vehicle which is a bonus no other insurance company offer. they also offer 3 types of payment plans. they are the best i have found and also offer discounts to car club members like gti club members plus others but a few porkies with some imaginery membership numbers never hurt just to get your premium £25 to £50 cheaper. he he give them a ring to see what they quote and let us know. i have found that for some people their quotes are crap but they have never to taken the piss with me.
