Hi
I am a 21 year old student, and have had a silly idea about letting my mum have my 1.4 and moving on to an 8v!!
Anyone got any ideas of where the best place to insure it would be?
Ive got been driving 4 1/2 years and have no accidents or convictions. Been on the books with CIS so they might give me partial no claims. Anyone have any better ideas?
Cheers Ollie

Try Noel Dazley insurance brokers in Frimley - I pay less than £200 on a restricted mileage policy for my 8v with all mods declared. Only got 2 years NCB on the car as well. Going to let them quote on my S3 as well to see if they can beat Elephant.

Yeah I would like, but wasnt sure I could buy afford to buy and insure a good one. Id want Black or Silver and think that would cost. Think an 8v is more realistic
Any one seen the silver 8v on ebay 99p at the moment? Good or bad?

Edit
Hey sambo im near u too. From Stourport, but at Brum uni at the moment. That 8v on ebay is near us.

That's what I thought. Was going to get an 8v, but then I did some more calculations and found out the 16v is not gonna cost me that much more over the year. So I went full whack.

Altho paying £1250 a year in insurance alone isn't very nice, the grin I get from driving a valver at 18 definitely is :D

God bless summer jobs. GO FULL WAMMY as there is no point in doing things by halves ;)
