Intercooler pictures

Hey all,

Just a quick one to see if anyone has any pictures of there intercoolers on mk2's.

Any with the fitting pictures too would be excellent.

Or a how too.

FR and Cupra have FMIC as standard, you looking to upgrade then?

yeah like the forge one i have the btcc kit and want one realy in your face like an inch behind the grille

The only option you have is the Forge Twintercooler

All of the other Intercooler Upgrades, S3,THS etc etc all replace the standard FMIC so just fit where the OEM one is.

yea thats what i want bt i might go for a custom set-up get a decent core and use the hoses from forge get it as close to the front bumper so you can really see it.

klee you may as well just get the FORGE one tbh. What will a custom built one cost you versus getting the FORGE one? I have the FORGE one but would have preferred the THS one in all honesty. Maybe upgrade it one day any how.

would love the forge one but the price is shed loads to be honest, i could pick a secondhand one up but they till like 350 plus.

So thought get a decent core and get the pipes for a hundred quid. but would only be 100 quid off the forge ahh i dunno can the forge one be moved or is it just set?

Not too sure tbh. I have not even looked at fitting mine yet.

If you bought the pipes from forge you still wouldnt be able to get it any closer to the front, as the pipes are a set length

Also it needs to be mounted on the crash bar so i dont think its physically possible to get it much closer than the forge one

The Audi S3 intercooler is a good upgrade over standard, especially with the a/c removed

If your going to tune your car further it wouldn't be the Forge one I'd use tbh!! Think it's abit gimmicky
