I know it will be on here somewhere but can't find it anywhere - i'm changing the interior lights on the car for leds and all was going well until i got to the rear lights - basically im hoping its a blown fuse.

Can anyone tell me which fuse is for the interior lights? everything else seems to be working ok.

Many thanks.

That's a good question, can't seem to find one. In fact, I can't find a fuse for any of the interior lights (glove box, vanity mirror etc). I've found a wiring diagram for the interior lights (I'm no electrician) and it seems to be controlled via the Control Unit (J519) and a 30A fuse. Have a look at fuses 17, 24, 28 & 34 (dashboard fuse box), these are the fuses that are linked to this unit.

Sorry, wrong diagram, but the rear lights are the same unit.

Brill thanks very much. The only thing is I don't have a fuse card. I know I'm a pain but which fuses are those numbers? Does it go 1,2,3,4 etc left to right as you look at them?

The exact same thing I was trying to do today, first one I tried in th rear and just like that they all went out.
I read on here somewhere today that it's a 7.5 amp fuse that's required but I've not been in to the fuse box to have a look yet - that's tomorrows job!

Best of luck finding out the answer, and if I find out myself tomorrow I will make sure to come on here and let you know!

Thanks very much guys. I managed to chane the number plate, sun visor and front map lights and they worked with the new LEDs in but as soon as I changed one of the rear passenger ones just went out. Illcheck tomorrow as I can't reach it at the mo nd let you know

Hi mate, swapped over the 7.5 amp fuse this morning and all is well for me...

2 things I am struggling with now I trying to get into the vanity mirror bulbs, how do you remove the casing?? I'm also struggling to actually get the two spotlight bulbs in the centre of the fron out as well, although that's prob just my sausage digits

The vanity mirror units, prise out one end of the unit v gently(the whole unit itself not just the glass) one end goes in and under and the other clicks in. Can't remember which end now thigh I'm afraid! Yeah the other ones are a bit tricky to get out!

Which number fuse did you changer?

No. 18 fuse, (working on th same numbering system as mentioned above on a post) but that was the only 7.5 one that was there on mine.
Picked up the fuses from halfrauds yesterday!

Doh, if it's any consolation I've got 3 spare after my trip yesterday..

Job done for me, thanks for your help! Hopefully you get a fuse and that sorts your problem! A bit of a pain in the ass getting the fuse box cover back on though

My map reading lights are bit flickery, will need to order another couple of them I reckon.

Exact same problem here. Put LEDS in, they were working until one bulb was loose, placed it back in and it they blew. Changed what i thought was the right fuse still didn't work. Now my rear defogger doesn't work either. Gona take a look at fuse 18 and see if its the problem. Cheers for the information.

Does anybody have a picture of the fuse board they could put up as i am struggling to locate the fuses for the interior lights, i know its the panel next to the steering wheel, but when i have taken that off, i am unsure of where they are.

many thanks for any help in advance :)
