Hi everyone, new to this so bare with me
I've got 2002 Leon Mk1 1.4 16v and want to replace all the interior bulbs for 'bright white' ones. Any idea what bulbs I need and where to get them? (Not internet based companys).
Thank you![]()
There's a thread on this mate that tells you all the bulb sizes, most of the places are online!
fornt ceiling is 1 festoon and 2 501 wedges. just checked mine.
cant figure out how to get the rear lights out of the roof lining, i can get the lense off but it looks like the whole thing has to come out to change the bulb
what size are the rears? mini 501's?

I've done a full LED conversion of interior lights on the Octavia, which has the exact same interior light units as the Leon. Will be doing the Leon's very soon.
Makes a tremendous difference -- buy them off eBay. I did, with no problems whatsoever.

Do you know the measurement of the front roof festoon Mike?
dont forget the led bulbs are polarity sensitive, if they dont work turn em round![]()
Its a 44mm festoon. The one I got off ebay had 12 LED's on it in a flat panel. Just replace the bulb (as others have said, it only works one way round), and angle the panel don to throw the light.

Something people always forget!
I ordered a 42mm for that one, it should fit if I bend the contacts right, seeing as it's not greatly different in size?
