Hey all!

I have a candy White 2012 FR+ TDI 170, now I'm not a fan of the dull silver plastics around the center console and dash so.... I want to change it.

Now I'm not sure if I should either wrap them in alcantara (white to match the white alcantara standard seats).

Or

Get a flocking ket and flock it black

(no experience in doing either)

Any thoughts or advise would be appreciated guys.

Mine is flocked, looks and feels great but only downside is the amount of dust it attracts. Just have to keep on top of it.

I had all the fascia's done for £56.

There's a guy on here who's flocked all plastic stuff in the centre dash, the main vents and heater surround and radio, and top of his dash. It looked alright actually, very black though as you can imagine. Sounds silly but as it wasn't reflective at all it it kinda looked a bit odd initially.

There's also another chap who painted his white, that looked pretty good too. Very different but not bad. I can't search and supply links as I'm at work, but worth trying to look yourself.

Hi Lads!

Thanks for the feedback - yeah that looks really smart. Tried searching myself bt couldnt find any posts with pics, now I just need to try and find someone local up in Aberdeen / Glasgow that can do it for me.

I used a company in York (quite local to me) but I sent them off to them and they sent them back no problems. Took a little longer than had planned but definitely worth it
