found a seperate thread now on this

when i attach my iphone 4 via the aux ports it splits the sound. for example vocals in the right speakers and backing vocals in the left ones.

i have tried an ipod and different leads but its still the same.

anyone got this issue and do they know how to get round it

thanks

Sounds like lead issue i had a problem similar problem with music cutting out it was down to cheap leads, got a better quality one worked fine. is the song not split that way? have you tried a different song?

I would also add that it takes some force to plug certain leads into the iphone - make sure its inserted fully, may be as simple as that. Otherwise contacts don't work properly.

NiddVale at harrogate. Wills and Ellis dont have the franchise anymore. Got several cars from there and are very good.

Garage have replaced the unit where the plugs go and thats cured it.

If you don't mind me asking when did you get the fix done as my dealer is claiming that the parts are on back order and they claim the order for the unit was placed on 12th November

last wednesday/ thursday was in for 2 days as it needed a rearview mirror as well. they were only made aware of fault on wednesday as well
