I've got a iPhone 4S running the IOS 6 software which the iPhone 5 uses and mine works perfectly.

Neither but like Kev I have version 6 software and it works fine !

I have a 4S in my FL Leon running iOS 6 and no problems using the SEAT cup holder dock however I have just got an iPhone 5 which means it will no longer work in my car which is a real bummer due to the new dock connector that Apple have introduced.

They are selling an adapter which will allow you to use the new phone with old dock connectors however if you have a cup holder dock it will not work.

The best advice I can give is to buy a BMW iPod/iPhone lead which works with SEAT which you can buy for £10 on Amazon and Ebay and buy an Apple connector which costs £25. Do not buy an aftermarket one of these as there is a chip in the new phone which senses if it is an aftermarket connector so you will be wasting your money.

Doesn't that mean that there will be very few accessories for the new lightning connector then? Since the only accessories that will work are ones licensed and produced with apples consent?

I.e the only products that will work are the ones sold in the apple store and not Argos etc. I'm a bit sceptical, give it a couple of months and they will crack the 'security feature' and there will be cheap adapters on eBay.

iPhone 5 works fine in the fr. Bluetooth I'm talking waiting for connectors to be released to test on cable
