I wouldn’t if it was me. That’s double the amps something in the circuit might melt or get damaged as it’s designed to run on 5amps. If your blowing fuses best to find the reason why rather then increase the amps going to the unit.

It depends on the current carrying capacity of the cable. Find out what csa the cable is then you could in theory up the protective device (fuse) size as long as it stays within the limits of the cable.

Cars are wired in tri-rated cable so a small csa cable can actually handle more ampage than you think.

My initial thought’s would be that it would be okay to up fuse size to 10amp.
