Hi all, is the Milltek sports cat and 3" downpipe really worth the £600 asking price? I already have the cat back system but will the downpipe give any more power? And could it cause any problems? Thanks in advance.

Cannot comment on the power. But noise is great and mine has caused no problems at all so far. Djhorace will probably give you the lowdown!

I can vouch for it, combined with a decent CAI, stage 1 Revo, and a Supersprint cat back gave 328bhp (flywheel) 394 ftlbs torque... as for value, the equivilant Supersprint DP/sports cat, costs £1500.... so yeah, it's vfm..

As I own a full Milltek system with the 76mm downpipe I can say that it made GREAT difference in sound and power.
Recomended!!!

You need a down pipe for car or full TBE system, if you are going to upgrade to "stage 2" setup...

Inlet outlet fitment is the same between K03/K04 down pipes, so APR 3" dp could be one choice too or Euro Sport or SuperSprint etc...

I recommended TBE systems, which has some kind of CELL (100-300Cell) inside the dp section, cause the sound could be quite LOUD and "bad" without that Cell... Milltek is good and SuperSprint.... Try to find some videos of Down pipes example from Youtube :p

Turbo spools faster and and unleashes a few extra bhps. A full system gives 15bhp on a remapped car over a standard exhaust using various r/r results available. Made 12bhp more on my standard one.

Customer service at Milltek in my experience is really good. Whether it is worth the money or not is up to you, but I think you will struggle to find someone who has fitted one and says many bad things about it.

Owenlcr is fitting his tomorrow to the existing cat back system and will be able to comment when it is done.

Right will this combo work as in the sizing not bothered about what people think about make of each section...just WILL IT FIT??

Downpipe: 3", supersprint non resonated centre section (70mm) and then miltek 'back box if you will'...will i need a reducer between the 3 inch downpipe and 70mm centre section?

That combo is cheapest for me due to connections here and there.

thanks guys
